How to be aby normal

I think this year as I for Thanksgiving I have found that I am thankful for the many deep and painful lessons  I have learned, the biggest one on how to mind my own business.

I am thankful for being an INFJ.  According to Wikipedia, INFJ’s are the rarest type of people and make up about 1-3% of the general population. Great I already don’t feel normal, but really it got me to thinking and looking more into this label.

A result of the Myers-Briggs Personality test. People who are INFJs are usually quiet, but very emotional, observant, and intuitive. They like to build very close bonds with people and cherish quality friendships. They are considered the dreamers and always thinking about great possibilities in the future. These people usually love music because it can express their feelings.

The letters stand for:
I- introvert

  • I – Introversion preferred to extraversion: INFJs tend to be quiet and reserved. They generally prefer interacting with a few close friends rather than a full circle of acquaintances, and they expend energy in social situations (whereas extraverts gain strength).[4]
  • N – iNtuition preferred to sensing: INFJs tend to be more abstract than concrete. They focus on the big picture rather than the details, and on future possibilities rather than immediate realities.[5]
  • F – Feeling preferred to thinking: INFJs tend to value personal considerations above objective criteria. When making decisions, they often give more weight to social implications than to logic.[6]
  • J – Judgment preferred to perception: INFJs tend to plan their activities and make decisions early. They derive a sense of control through predictability.

I took this test to find out my personality, I was having a hard time trying to fit myself into what others think I should be. I wanted to know who I am what makes me tick as they say.  I am not normal… what the heck is normal anyway.  We live on a planet made by all-knowing energy that fly’s through space on the end of a galaxy that most people can not comprehend.  Normal what they heck is normal?! The word reasonable to me is just another way to control the masses.

I am learning not to judge, it is not my job plus I don’t want the job!  I have been learning how to let go of the drama of this world.  I am here to judge only my own actions, thoughts and ego.  I am never right when it comes to other people.  What an ego buster there huh?  It is so freeing to know that I am not right I am nothing at all I am everything.  I love how minding my own business gets me out of others lives and out of their way.  I like to help others, yet I found I  was helpful to a fault and then I realized I was harming them and me.

I don’t need to judge others on how they act, react, dress, believe, do, be or what, where they have been or done.  That is all theirs.

I see myself skipping off into the sunset being happy that it has nothing to do with me.  I am free of the limited past beliefs that I somehow was responsible for what others do, anyone does.  Why should I be?  Well if you look at a previous knowledge that I was taught you might just think you had a right.

The world has become lazy, it is easier to blame the world, the government whatever scapegoat you want to use.  Stop through and think about this, you say it is the government’s fault yet they are not holding a gun to your head and making you do anything.  It’s your choice to eat the putrid foods the FDA has approved. It’s your choice to allow them to vaccinate your children and yourself with unproven vaccinations.  It is your choice!!   The world has become lazy,  it’s easier to do nothing have no thought and then blame it on something or someone else. It’s easier to judge others than to look at oneself.

We as humans are all at different places, we know things that others do not.  When we are quiet and safe with our own feelings, we can learn.  I am not right I am me.  NO one else is me, they do not feel the same as me even though we may agree on a lot of things.  I am not there where they are.  We are taught that we need others to be complete or that we somehow have to control them and feel right.  I do not need anyone but me to be happy, full or whole.  I am all those things I have discovered that I am all these things.  I do not need to argue with others because I need to feel right.  I am not right, I can agree with whatever they say and still know who I am as a whole.  WOW SO COOL!!  Think about that, someone has a different thought or believe it’s ok for them to have that, it’s not about you because you are secure in who you are.

I don’t need anyone, I am more than capable of doing for myself.  I love having that freedom where I can share with others, but I am not in need of them. My happiness is in me.

I have folks who I once taught about holistic living till I was blue in the face, I showed them everything that took me years to learn in 15-30 minutes time.  They didn’t take the teaching and run with it, they stepped right back into the system and wondered why they were not getting better.  It was not a waste of time for me, it wasn’t a waste of time for them.  I loved that I was able to teach them what I know, but they didn’t want to know it.  Maybe one day they will find it out like I did, perhaps they won’t there is nothing I can do to make them want to know what they want to know. I don’t volunteer the info anymore, I wait till they ask.  That shows me that they are ready to learn.

I am not right about anything, there are no experts.  There are people who have made the things they love a huge part of who they are.  They are not experts, life is always changing we are still learning.

I love being an introvert I am not into big crowds, I love quiet alone time, not all the time I miss my close friends.  I adore open country where I can see forever.  I like doing things on my own but love to share.

INFJs are conscientious and value-driven. They seek to mean in relationships, ideas, and events, with an eye toward better understanding themselves and others. Using their intuitive skills, they develop a clear and confident vision, which they then set out to execute, aiming to better the lives of others. Like their INTJ counterparts, INFJs regard problems as opportunities to design and implement creative solutions.[8]

INFJs are believed to adapt quickly to social situations due to their sophisticated understanding of an individual’s motivations; however, they are true introverts. INFJs are private individuals who prefer to exercise their influence behind the scenes. Though they are very independent, INFJs are intensely interested in the well-being of others. INFJs prefer one-on-one relationships to large groups. Sensitive and sophisticated, they are adept at understanding complicated issues and driven to resolve differences in a cooperative and creative manner.

Since I have started to mind my own business, I am finding out more about who I am.  I like that as I gain an understanding of who I am, I am finding a pretty cool person.  I am unique, different, unusual!  I can help others out better because of the understanding I have discovered about myself.  What if we all stopped the drama, got off the record of repeat, made up our mind to stop being lazy and made it our business to mind our own business.  How much of this world would change for the better? To follow one’s heart? Wow, that made me smile!

May you find the unique that is you, today! Happy Thanksgiving!

For those who don’t yet understand themselves, it’s impossible that they might understand you.

It’s the same for those who don’t yet love themselves…

Happily, you’re in control here.

The Universe

P.S. Actually to understand means “to see God,” and then tears doth flow.
